Admission schedules
Foreigners may be accepted for the first and second degree studies at ALMAMER University if:
- they have a visa or resident status or another document allowing them to stay in the Republic of Poland;
- they have good health condition, which can be proved by a health certificate stating that there are no contraindications against starting education in a chosen faculty and a form of schooling;
- they have insurance policy against a disease, consequences of accidents for the period of education in Poland, or they have the European Health Insurance Card or they enter into insurance in National Health Fund (NFZ) immediately after commencing education;
- they complete the questionnaire and sign the agreement with University about terms and conditions of studying;
- they have a command of the Polish language sufficient for taking up studies in Polish and they submit in this respect:
- confirmation from ALMAMER University that their preparations and their command of Polish allow them to take up studies in Polish. The University issues such a confirmation following a test; or
- certificate of completing one-year preparatory course for taking up studies in Polish issued by an institution assigned by the minister responsible for higher education; or
- certificate of the Polish language issued by the State Committee for Confirmation of Polish as a Foreign Language.
For those who cannot prove the command of Polish, the University organises one-year preparatory courses for taking up studies in Polish. During this course a foreigner is granted the rights of a student.
Required documents:
- First Degree (BA) Studies – certified diploma, apostille confimation or another foreign document allowing to enrol at college or university in a country which possesses in its system an institution isssuing such a document. This document must be equivalent to the Polish certificate of secondary education according to the regulations about confirmation of diplomas and certificates of secondary education issued abroad or according to an international agreement*.
- Second Degree (MA) Studies – certified diploma, apostille confimation or another foreign document allowing to enrol at college or university for the second degree studies in a country in which it was issued. This document must be equivalent to the Polish diploma of first-degree studies according to the regulations about confirmation of diplomas and certificates of higher education issued abroad or according to an international agreement*.
- Completed questionnaire;
- Photocopy of passport (original to be shown while signing)
- Medical certificate about no contraindications against starting education in a chosen faculty;
- 4 signed photographs sized 35x45 mm;
- Certificate of payment the entry fee and one-term tuition fee**.
Foreign documents should be submitted together with their sworn translation into Polish.
* Apostille confirmation is not required from people granted certificates or diplomas in Belorussia and Ukraine.
** Citizens of Belorussia and Ukraine may payt tuition fee in instalments.
